Michael Ryan Hunter Larkin

Michael Ryan Hunter Larkin, known to many as Ryan, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on December 11, 1980, he will be remembered with deep love and gratitude by those who knew him.

Ryan was a man of many interests and talents, with a generous heart that left a lasting impression on his family and friends. He especially loved spending Sundays with his family, time that brought him great happiness and created cherished memories for those closest to him. He also enjoyed playing snooker and pool, pursuits that reflected both his skill and his enjoyment of sharing time with others.

A talented handyman, Ryan was especially gifted at fixing things. More importantly, he was someone his family could depend on, always there when he was needed and always ready to lend a helping hand. The care he showed through these everyday acts of service became one of the clearest expressions of his love.

Ryan was also an avid reader with a curious and thoughtful mind. He enjoyed exploring ideas and engaging in conversations about philosophy and life’s deeper questions. His kindness, generosity, and wisdom touched the lives of many, and his willingness to help others will be long remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his parents, his siblings, and his nieces and nephews, all of whom carry forward the memory of his love, strength, and steady presence. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and by all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

A memorial service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 27, 2026, at the Dover, MO Community Center, 270 Walnut St., Dover, MO 64022, next door to the post office.
