Kerran Marie McFatrich, formerly known as Kerran Marie Chapman, passed away on February 17, 2026, just one day shy of her 52nd birthday. Born on February 18, 1974, in Harrisonville, Missouri, Kerran was a beloved member of her community and an irreplaceable presence in the lives of her family and friends.
Kerran is remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her nurturing, motherly spirit. She was the life of every gathering, always uniting those around her with her fun-loving nature and positive outlook on life. With an infectious smile and a heart brimming with warmth, Kerran brought joy to those fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Scott McFatrich, and her three cherished sons, Tyler, Garrett, and Austin (Karly) McFatrich. Kerran also had the delight of being a grandmother to her grandchildren, Kashton and Kennedi. Her nurturing instincts extended beyond her family as she formed lasting friendships with individuals such as Steve Sabol, who held a special place in her heart. Kerran's beloved dog, Chicken, also remains a cherished reminder of her boundless love.
Kerran's family legacy continues through her loving mother Nancy Chapman-Lindly and step-father Woody Lindly. She leaves behind her father Arle Chapman, her brothers Scott and Russell Chapman, as well as her step-siblings Ginger Lavery, Sonya Chapman, and Tommy Lindly. Together, they will carry forth her memory and spirit.
She is preceded in death by her step-father, Rex Chapman, and her mother-in-law, Judy McFatrich.
Kerran Marie McFatrich will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, positivity, and joy will endure in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding them to celebrate life’s moments and the bonds that unite us all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Buckner Masonic Lodge #501, located at 611 S. Sibley Street, Buckner, MO 64016. Lunch will be provided. Please join us as we celebrate the Life of Kerran.
