Everett Lee Armstrong

Everett Lee Armstrong, a beloved father, husband, family member, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Everett was born on June 19, 1943, to Everett William Armstrong and Catherine Lee Doonigan in Kansas City, Missouri. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness and sense of humor. He touched the lives of many people and will be remembered for the love he gave to his family and the lasting impression he made on those who knew him.

Everett was a devoted husband to Lucy Armstrong, who cared for him in final years. He cherished his family and took great pride in his children. Some of his happiest memories were made when everyone was gathered at home or at dinners.

His is survived by his wife Lucy; sons and their spouses: Robert and Sarah, Eric and Astrid, Michael and Hannah, and Samuel; and many other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

He will be welcomed by his parents; and his siblings, James Leslie "Jimmy" and Barbara Ann.

Everett leaves behind a legacy of love, memories, and the many lives he touched throughout his 83 years. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in his family and in everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

A private service will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
